I honestly don’t think I’d use another resin for miniatures now. I’ve been using Wargamer exclusively since February, I’ve gone through 8 bottles so far, and bottle number 9 is already on the way.
After having repeated failures with other resins, switching to Wargamer and using their recommended settings was such a refreshing change. Things just started printing properly, which is pretty much all any of us want when we hit print.
The detail is great, supports come away nicely, and it’s been incredibly consistent. At this point I don’t really worry about whether the resin itself is going to cause a print to fail. If something does go wrong, I’m looking at how I supported or oriented the model rather than wondering if the resin is going to behave.
It definitely looks expensive at first, but I’ve basically chalked the extra cost up to not needing to buy IPA, wasting far less resin on failed prints, and just not having the frustration that comes with constantly troubleshooting resin settings.
The support team is awesome as well. Any time I’ve had a question they’ve been genuinely helpful, shoutout to Adam in particular.
After 8 bottles, I think it’s safe to say I’m sold. If you’re printing miniatures, I genuinely couldn’t recommend Wargamer enough.
