Description

  • MINIS THAT FEEL PROFESSIONAL: Wargamer doesn't make "3D prints," it makes products. Our minis look and feel almost identical to what you'd get on injection moulded sprues. Support marks can be scraped off with a hobby knife, similar to sprue marks.
  • FLAWLESSLY SHARP: Wargamer brings out even the smallest details on miniatures. If your printer is good enough, your minis can be crisper than injection moulded plastic.
  • NO MORE BROKEN MINIS: Wargamer makes survivors. Miniatures printed with Wargamer feel very close to store-bought plastic minis, but are just a bit tougher. Try to throw one across the room. We dare you.
  • WASHABLE WITH WATER OR IPA: Finally, a water washable resin without compromises. Wargamer has none of the brittleness that most water washable resins suffer from. Wargamer can also be washed with IPA. This is recommended for professionals and heavy users.
  • OOOH SHINY: Wargamer has a slightly reflective surface, just like traditional wargaming pieces. This helps bring out details, and photographs especially well.

What makes it Wargamer
  • Minis that feel professional
Closer to store-bought than 3D print. Support marks scrape off like sprue.
  • Flawlessly sharp
Brings out tiny details. Can print crisper than injection-moulded with a good machine.
  • Washes in water or IPA
Water-washable with no compromise. IPA still works for pros and heavy users.
  • Flexible & durable
Won't shatter on a table drop — keeps the bend and survives the bring-and-battle.
  • Built with FauxHammer
Designed for one job: authentic, long-lasting miniatures. Not prototyping, not engineering.
  • OnTableTop nominee
Best Gaming Accessory Nominee 2023. Colour and light-refraction close to tabletop plastic.

Best on the Market

This resin is by far and away the best on the market at any price.

Support removal was a dream, post-print cleaning was simple and most importantly the details are so insanely crisp.

I have tried out other miniature focused resin such as Phrozen RPG and whilst they are great, this stands above noticeably.

Adam is also very responsive and helpful to deal with as a customer.

WARGAMER by FauxHammer rocks with a price!

Not really easy to setup but not really hard either - the result is amazing and the only readon I'm giving 4 stars is the price which is really too high

The Only Resin I Use for Miniatures

I honestly don’t think I’d use another resin for miniatures now. I’ve been using Wargamer exclusively since February, I’ve gone through 8 bottles so far, and bottle number 9 is already on the way.

After having repeated failures with other resins, switching to Wargamer and using their recommended settings was such a refreshing change. Things just started printing properly, which is pretty much all any of us want when we hit print.

The detail is great, supports come away nicely, and it’s been incredibly consistent. At this point I don’t really worry about whether the resin itself is going to cause a print to fail. If something does go wrong, I’m looking at how I supported or oriented the model rather than wondering if the resin is going to behave.

It definitely looks expensive at first, but I’ve basically chalked the extra cost up to not needing to buy IPA, wasting far less resin on failed prints, and just not having the frustration that comes with constantly troubleshooting resin settings.

The support team is awesome as well. Any time I’ve had a question they’ve been genuinely helpful, shoutout to Adam in particular.

After 8 bottles, I think it’s safe to say I’m sold. If you’re printing miniatures, I genuinely couldn’t recommend Wargamer enough.

Answers// questions we actually get asked

The fine print, big.

Can I really wash this with plain tap water?

Yes. Wargamer is a true water-washable formula — no bucket of IPA needed. 5 minutes in warm water handles a full plate. For heavy studio use we still recommend IPA because it dries faster and lets you reuse the bath.

These are the 'safe' starting settings — how do I tune them?

The values above are conservative. They print on almost every 8K LCD. To dial-in for your printer: run our included exposure test print, note the thinnest column that holds, and subtract 0.1 s from normal exposure until it starts to fail. That's your floor.

What makes Wargamer different from Dollmaker?

Same chassis, different tune. Wargamer is biased toward edge hardness and a satin sheen for tabletop minis. Dollmaker is softer, matte, and safer for skin-contact BJD parts.

Do you ship outside the EU?

EU-wide from Gdynia in 3–10 days. For the US/UK, please order through yesthats3dprinted.com — same formula, local warehouse.
